We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers and directors! Our staff is part of the consistent care provided by Kids ‘R’ Kids.

All Kids ‘R’ Kids faculty & personnel are required to follow state regulations that apply to training. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations to provide the staff with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences.

Meet Our Staff

Three Year Old Teacher - Beverly Rodriguez I was born in New Jersey and moved to Georgia in 1976. I have been married for 37 years to my high school sweetheart. We have 2 boys, Ricky and Robby. We also have 7 grandchildren. I like swimming, bowling and arts and crafts. My favorite movie character is Tigger!!!!

Assistant Teacher - Corby Ghrist I am married to my terrific husband, Tom, and we have 2 wonderful children. Alex is 16 and Zach is 14. I taught in Newton County for 5 years. I love working in the classroom with the children and seeing their faces light up when they learn something new.

Substitute Teacher - Marie Craig I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. I substitute for Newton County School System along with Kids R Kids. I also work at Sam's Club. I worked 8 years at Victory Christian School. I love to attend church, read religious books and go camping. I like a variety of music, such as soulful gospel, instrumental and romantic music. My husband, Wesley, is an evangelist and a terrific husband. I enjoy teaching and helping people. I like southern country style food and chocolate.

Two Year Old Teacher - Wanda Vongmongkol I have a beautiful family that consists of my loving husband of 36 years and 2 grown children. We are expecting our 3rd grandchild in December. I take pride in my 30 plus years of working with children and for the brief time they grow in my class. I consider them my own. The call me the "hugging" teacher.

Three Year Old Teacher - Laura Butler I am finishing school to be a teacher. I am married and have been working with children since I was 15. I love children and all they have to offer, everyday is a surprise!

Three Year Old Teacher - Meghan Fore I have worked at the center for a year and a half. I am currently a teacher in the youngest 3 year old room and enjoy it very much. I am engaged and have a son who is 2 1/2 years old named Kalen, who is also in the center. I am pregnant with my second boy who is due at the end of January.

Three Year Old Assistant Teacher - Amber Miller I am 18 years old and I have been working here for a year. I love every minute of it. I will soon be starting college for Early Childhood Education.

Three Year Old Teacher - Cheryl Randolph I have been married for 25 years to Cleveland Randolph. We have two sons Cleveland Jr. and Quentin. Originally I was from England and have lived in the United States for about 24 years. Most of these years I have been working and teaching children from different backgrounds.

Three Year Old Assistant Teacher - Kristen West I currently live in Newton County. I am married and have been for 2 years. We have a son named Bryce West. He is 5 months old. I have worked at Kids R Kids for 3 years and am currently teaching the 3 year olds.

Three Year Old Assistant Teacher - Deedee Derenburger I am 21 years old. I am the middle child of 2 brothers who are 24 and 11. I have an 8 month old niece and hopefully will have 5 kids of my own.

Georgia Pre-K Teacher - Anna Fleming I have 4 children and have been a stay at home mother for 10 years. My youngest son started school last year and I have worked at Kids R Kids since then. This school year I started as the Pre-K assistant and also started college for a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am excited about my job and ready for a new learning experience each day.

Georgia Pre-K Teacher Substitute - Jenni Albrecht I just moved here from Wisconsin and am currently teaching Georgia Pre-K for Ms Ashley while she is on maternity leave. I taught kindergarten for 2 years in Wisconsin and am excited to teach Pre-K for the next 6 weeks.

Georgia Pre-K Teacher - Katie Blake I am the proud mother of Gavin, my 6 year old first grader. I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia and plan to pursue my Masters in Education. I love working with children, especially in Pre-K and hope to enjoy a lengthy career in teaching.

One Year Old Teacher - Courtney Calhoun I am 17 years old and am a senior at Heritage High School. I really enjoy working with the babies in 150!!

Front Desk - Kim Scott I am married with 2 children, ages 5 and 2. I have worked with children for over 7 years and enjoy it very much.

Two Year Old Assistant Teacher - Tiffany Hunt I am a senior at Newton High School. I am in the top 5 percent of my class. I also attend Georgia Perimeter College as a freshman and I plan on majoring in Pre-Med at a state college in the fall. I've been in the older two year old classroom at Kids R Kids #50 since of 2008 and I consider myself very blessed to have such a wonderful job. These kids are my life and I look forward to coming to work each and every day.
